This event in Cambrils is held under the name D.O. World DanceSport and made up of 30+ different competitions. It is in its third day already and many have already been completed. The Cambrils International Open Standard was on yesterday. And we have some footage of the final.

The World Seniro II went underway early today at the Salou Sports Hall. The organisers had to make a 10:00 call for round one to accommodate the more than 160 couples dancing for the title today.

The European DanceSport Clubs Cup is a team competition, with each team made up of six (6) couples. Three (3) couples compete in Standard – three (3) compete in Latin! And the three couples competing in each section belong to three (3) different age groups:

After the championship organisers had to scrub their plans to produce an independent live video stream of the World Senior II Standard semi-final and final, the WDSF Communications team has decided to include at least some of the championship coverage here. We will advise tomorrow regarding the exact schedule for that.
