Out of a maximum of 55 points to be awarded for absolute perfection, Vladimir Karpov - Mariya Tzaptashvilli, RUS, received 54.79 points and Simone Segatori - Anette Sudol, GER, 53.57 points. The perfect "10" was indeed awarded in some of the components that are being assessed under the new judging system.
While full results have still not been received from the competitions in Beijing (What's taking so long: last weekend we had the first ever competition with live results, and here we're waiting 48 hours or more!), we have come across a photograph with the detailed score for the performance of Vladimir and Mariya.

Danish trainers Peter and Kristina Stokkebroe collaborated with WDSF in creating this learning resource on musicality and speed in the Cha Cha Cha. The video was recorded in August 2012 during the GOC in Stuttgart, GER.
Vladimir and Mariya won the Latin title with a routine that was based on the music - as well as on the emotions - of Steven Spielberg's 1993 award-winning movie "Schindler's List."
