Two In One

31 October - Riga, LAT With the Opening Ceremony in progress at the Arena Riga and with a total of 65 couples representing their countries in two World Championships Ten Dance, it becomes even more obvious that this format has much going for itself. One by one, the couples in both age groups are called to the stage before they get onto the dance floor for the ceremonial part.

For the first time ever in WDSF history, an organiser has endeavoured to run two Ten Dance Championships side-by-side, bringing plenty of synergies as well as considerable economy of scale to both. As a consequence, tonight's World Youth Ten Dance will be the first one in this age group to be adjudicated with the new Judging System.
