Today, FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, announced an agreement with the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) to live stream coverage of 30 top-level events per annum exclusively on FloDance.com. Live and on-demand coverage includes the World and Continental Championships, the GrandSlam Series, the Professional Division GrandPrix, and much more, giving fans the opportunity to follow elite DanceSport year-round.

On-demand programmes and packages on close to 100 WDSF top-level events produced between 2014 and 2018 will be available soon on FloDance.com too. This totals nearly 200 hours of the world’s best dancers captured and produced by DanceSport experts.

FloDance covers a wide range of dance genres, including Swing, Country Western, Latin, and Standard among others. The addition of the international high-performance WDSF events to FloDance’s already impressive lineup of dance competitions, such as the American DanceSport Festival and the Country Dance World Championships, makes FloDance a global destination for dance fans.

The collaboration between FloSports and WDSF kicks off from Stuttgart, Germany, with two GrandSlam, two Professional Division GrandPrix, and the 2018 Boogie Woogie World Championship, all taking place between 7 and 11 Augst.

The world governing body of DanceSport, WDSF is recognised by the International Olympic Committee and has more than 90 National Member Bodies from all continents. Rapidly growing around the world, DanceSport is as diverse as the rhythms it is performed to. In October 2018, DanceSport is set to feature for the first time in the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games with its discipline Breaking and three events: B-Boy, B-Girl and Mixed Team. Promoting dance as sport for more than 60 years, the WDSF continues to lead the way in its development and regulation for athletes of all ages.

“WDSF is a world-class organization, filled with elite athletes that embody the passion and talent we’re dedicated to showcasing,”  FloSports SVP, Global Rights Acquisition and Strategy Adam Fenn said. “This new agreement will make FloDance the home for dance fans, with year-round coverage of the events they most want to watch, and we look forward to delivering them in the high-quality, authentic manner dance fans want and deserve.”

“We look forward to our collaboration with FloSports and the opportunity to further enhance our event coverage to best highlight our athletes, while delivering an exceptional experience to our fans,” Shawn Tay, First Vice-President and CEO of the World DanceSport Federation said.
