21/03/2024 read more ...The WDSF Presidium refers to the Report of the WDSF Ethics Committee to the WDSF Presidium dated "23 May 2022" about the case of Mr. Ferruccio Galvagno regarding a Suspected Breach of the WDSF Code of Ethics (hereinafter referred to as “the Report”).
The Presidium FINDS that Ferruccio Galvagno has committed a violation of Article 2.7 of the WDSF Code of Ethics as described in the Report.
The Presidium FINDS that the said conduct warrants a sanction or sanctions by the Presidium according to Article 9.1 of the WDSF Code of Ethics.
Having taken into account all relevant factors in the case, including:
the Presidium issues a Formal Warning to Mr. Galvagno as follows:
the Presidium
* reminds Mr. Galvagno of the existence of the relevant provisions in the WDSF’s Governing Documents and in particular the WDSF Code of Ethics;
* issues a Notice to Mr. Galvagno that it has IMPOSED A PERIOD OF PROBATION of FOUR (4) YEARS for him; and
* warns Mr. Galvagno that repeated misbehaviour of the same kind during the said probation period of FOUR (4) YEARS may lead to a more severe sanction than a warning.
RESOLVED THAT the full text of the said Formal Warning be published prominently on the WDSF website.
