2018 AGM E-Book | Download | Read 12/06/2018

2018 AGM Lausanne The upcoming General Meeting (AGM) of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) will bring delegates from many countries to this year's venue in the Olympic Capital Lausanne, SUI. How many, you are asking? For reference: 53 National Members Bodies were present in Singapore for the 2017 AGM. Add to this six more countries represented by proxies and you end up with a solid international representation. Very likely, an unprecedented number of countries giving their proxy votes to the delegates physically present in Lausanne will increase the internationality further.

It will be a watershed meeting whatever the outcome of a record (at least it feels that way) number of motions brought forward by the Presidium and by the NMBs. It is a good thing that virtually everything which is being decided on is very thoroughly described in the countless reports (probably another record) as well as in the motions. Most likely, the quantity of reading required to prepare is such that it can hardly be handled by anyone who still needs to work to make his or her living.
