The 2012 WDSF PD World DanceSport Championship Latin in Leipzig, GER, was an outstanding success at all levels.
17 nations fielding 29 couples topped the entries in the 2011 WDSF PD World Latin that was held in Luxembourg (click here).
After Alexey Silde - Anna Firstova, RUS, it was another World Champion couple that revalidated the Latin title won as "amateurs" in its first outing as professionals. Zoran Plohl and Tatsiana Lahvinovich, SLO, were the winners of the 2011 WDSF World Latin in Singapore - and they are now European and World Champions in the Professional Division.
Their dances in the final can all be watched on the "Live from Platja d'Aro" blog (click here). And here's what Zoran and Tatsiana had to say after their win.
