The Spoločenský pavilón was instantly filled with loud cheers and support from the sides of the dancefloor, which in turn boosted the young couples to demonstrate their very best talent in front of their coaches, families and supporters – and the Adjudicators.

In the end, having an amazing final round and winning all ten dances out of the ten in the final, Germany’s Yigit Bayraktar - Lukrecija Kuraite were awarded already their second World Championship title this year, following the World Latin title earlier in July.

Romania’s Sabin Alexandru-Marian - Dediu Alessandra Mariawere awarded the silver medals, having been ranked to the second place in all ten dances. The couple reached their first top-3ranking in the World Championships so far.

After a successful World Latin in July which had earned them World Championship bronze, Moldova’s Artem Crivenco - Sofiya Malik demonstrated their talent successfully also in Ten Dance, and the couple secured their second World Championship bronze medal of the year in Kosice.

The final would not have been a final without Slovakia’s own couple Daniel Beissel - Sofia Zubcakova, Estonia’s Martin Makarov - Regina Peik and Israel’s Matvey Philippov - Alina Ilin, who all performed well and showcased their skills, and were awarded the positions of 4th to 6th respectively.

Many of these talented 14- to 15-year-olds who entered the floor in Kosice have a wonderful future in DanceSport waiting for them. We’ll just have to keep an eye on them and remember where we saw them first. Congratulations to the couples and all the best for the glorious future!

WDSF thanks the organizers for a wonderful event!
