election candidates The WDSF Athletes Commission is looking for candidates for election as the European representative.

The WDSF Athletes Commission (AC) is a permanent commission of the WDSF Presidium that consists of athletes who are elected solely by other WDSF athletes. The AC represents the interest of the athletes, advises the Presidium on matters that are relevant to the athletes, and works to improving the communication between the Presidium and the athletes.

All athletes from the European countries and 18 years of age or over (at the time of the elections) may now volunteer or be nominated as candidates. That includes the age categories Youth (when you are at least 18 years of age), Under 21 (when you are at least 18 years of age), Adult and Senior.
Any active athlete meeting the requirements who resides in Europe may submit his or her candidacy together with a resume and reasons or statement for candidacy, to the following e-mail address by 29 June 2022, 17:00 CET: athletes@wdsf.org.

We will be conducting a physical election at the German Open Championships in Stuttgart on 11-13 August 2022 and conduct parallel electronic elections from 3 August 2022 up to and including 10 August 2022. Further instructions on the electronic voting will be issued once the candidates are known.

One of the candidates approved by the Commission as qualified under the WDSF Athletes Commission Operating Policy will be elected to serve a 4-year term as a member of the Athletes Commission.

Please send us your nominations!
