Re-launch of the WDSF Ranking System from September 1st 2021 02/09/2021

WRL 2021 To all athletes, officials and organisers,

As we are slowly getting back to normal and more people are being able to travel internationally the WDSF competition calendar for the remainder of 2021fills with many regular WDSF competitions and WDSF title events. Therefor the WDSF Sports Commission has decided to re-launch the WDSF Ranking System from September 1st 2021.

Our next WDSF title events will be the:

2021 WDSF World Cup Adult Latin on 11th of September in Portugal;
2021 WDSF World Championship Senior 3 Latin on 11th of September in Platja d’Aro Spain;
2021 WDSF World Championship Adults Standard on 18th Septemberin Bro, Czech Republic.

We wish all couples and the organisers great success.

We have other exciting news to share. In the past years we received many request to also include Juniors in the WDSF Ranking System. The WDSF Sports Commission has decided to include the below mentioned age categories and disciplines in WDSF Ranking System per September 1st 2021:

Youth Ten Dance
Junior II Standard
Junior II Latin
Junior II Ten Dance

These ranking systems will have the same configuration as the Ranking List for Youth STD and LAT age category and disciplines: ‘...the sum of the 4 best WDSF World Ranking Tournament results during the past 12 month…’.
