This commemorative book encapsulates Breaking's inspiring journey from grassroots culture to Olympic recognition, chronicling the athletes' paths to qualification, the pivotal figures who shaped the movement, and the immense historical value of this achievement. Sergey Nifontov shared insights into the meticulous work required to complete this book ahead of the AGM, a fitting tribute to Breaking’s Olympic debut.

Breaking's Historical Debut at the Olympic Games Paris 2024

Moderated by President Shawn Tay, this session featured six speakers who discussed the impactful journey and the far-reaching implications of Breaking’s Olympic inclusion. WDSF leaders, including Vice Presidents Nenad Jeftic and Tony Tilenni, outlined the strategic vision, financial investments, and dedication that culminated in this historic success.

A discussion led by Nenad Jeftic examined the strengths and challenges facing Standard and Latin disciplines in the context of international multi-sport games. Speakers Brigita Domarkaite, Anna De Grande, and Rostislav Filgas shared insights into areas such as athlete health, anti-manipulation strategies, and DanceSport’s growing media presence. Highlights included Brigita’s analysis of physical and mental health concerns for athletes and Rostislav’s account of DanceSport's positioning within the Czech Republic and potential collaborations with national broadcasters.

New Structure of WDSF Operations and Administration

WDSF General Secretary Sergey Nifontov presented the evolving structure of WDSF's operations and administrative processes, detailing adjustments made to enhance support for DanceSport following its Olympic breakthrough.
