Berlin Dance Festival 2026

Berlin Dance Festival 2026 Draws 1,146 Athletes from 28 Countries

Berlin – 20 to 22 March 2026. The Berlin Dance Festival took place at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, welcoming 573 couples and a total of 1,146 athletes from 28 countries, with Germany represented by the Deutscher Tanzsportverband e.V. with 422 couples. Around 1,700 spectators attended over the three days, alongside approximately 100 distinguished guests, including local politicians, representatives from the Deutscher Tanzsportverband e.V., and other sports federations.

The event was made possible thanks to the financial support of Berlin’s governing body, with the Berlin Senator for the Interior and Sport acting as patron. This high-profile backing helped highlight the festival’s significance both for competitive DanceSport and for the local cultural and sporting scene.
