IF Webinar Series 2026 launches with first session on Anti-Doping Introduction
The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), in collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA), is pleased to announce the start of the IF Webinar Series – Edition 2 (2026), a comprehensive online education programme dedicated to clean sport and anti-doping awareness.
The series consists of three interactive webinars designed to provide athletes, coaches, and athlete support personnel with essential knowledge, practical guidance, and the opportunity to engage directly with anti-doping experts.
First webinar: Introduction to Anti-Doping
The first session will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 22 April 2026 (14:00–15:00 CEST), and it will serve as an introduction to Anti-Doping.
This opening webinar will provide a foundational overview of the global anti-doping system, including key principles and responsibilities that apply across all levels of sport. Topics will include:
- Athletes’ rights and responsibilities under the World Anti-Doping Code
- Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs) and their consequences
- The importance of reporting and protecting clean sport
- The principle of strict liability, whereby athletes are responsible for any prohibited substance found in their body, regardless of intent or fault
Speaking ahead of the launch of the series, WDSF President Shawn Tay underlined the broader significance of education within the sport:
“Education is not a formality in sport; it is part of how we protect fairness and trust in competition. These webinars give our community the opportunity to engage directly with the principles that safeguard DanceSport at every level.”

Participation in the IF Webinar Series is free of charge and open to the entire DanceSport community. A single registration provides access to all three webinars.
