The "new" new Juging System (JuDSys) was first used last weekend in the 2017 Tokyo World Open.

"From a technical point of view, the software performed as specified with no incidents," wrote Dallas Williams, the leader of the working group that had developed the system.

"The feeling among the Ajudicators was positive, with almost a general expression of relief that steps had been taken to address the major concerns people had about the predecessor JuDSys 2.1," Williams concluded.

We also asked the dancers about their opinion. They said that for them getting adjudicated with 3.0 "was no different from before." But then we had asked the winners!
