Showdown in Shanghai, CHN The members of the WDSF Communications team have just returned to the hotel after a long afternoon working at different locations throughout the city of Shanghai, CHN. There was the "Walk of Fame" at a central square downtown, a press conference nearby and - finally - the welcoming dinner right next to the Oriental Sports Centre.

Plenty of material was recorded by our cameraman Ferran Castañer during the day. He's editing it now and ensuring that impressions and interviews will soon get uploaded onto our YouTube channel and (only then) to this blog. While this is a process in itself, it takes even longer in China because of access to YouTube (and social media platforms) being blocked. Everything will need to get relayed through our base in Spain.

On a brighter note: you will also be able to follow other top-level DanceSport competitions on this blog. Tomorrow, 14 December, WDSF Communications team member Dr Helmut Roland will be in Bremen, GER, and report from the 2013 World Formation Latin there.

Today and tomorrow, we will also be able to offer you live webcasts from Baltic Grand Prix in Riga, LAT. Today's webcast starts at 16:00 UTC/GMT and covers the European Cup Standard.
