It took us a while to discover that one of the top Standard couples is not in Helsinki today. When the second round started, it has suddenly sunk in: Evaldas Sodeika and Ieva Zukauskaite, LTU, are not dancing. They can hardly blame it on the distance: Lithuania - Finland, 600 km, part of it across the Baltic Sea, that's nothing. Wuhan, China, will be much farther. And Hong Kong too.
We immediately checked their Instagram and discover that ievazukauskaite and ewka8913 have not uploaded anything recently: the dance-off between Evaldas and Alexey Glukhov recorded by Ieva dates back some two weeks.
