Charles-Guillaume Schmitt - Elena Salikhova, FRA, went into this final with all the motivation in the world. They talked to the WDSF Communications team before the GrandSlam: Charles and Elena feel their partnership has evolved over time - since their earliest big success as World Champions back in 2088 - and that further improvement should still be possible.
Some experts had the impression that their dancing was particularly perfect in this final and probably not fully reflected in some of their scores. In the final tally of points, the total was enough for fourth place.
