WDSF Communications team is packing their bags and cameras and will soon be on their way to Vienna, Austria for the 2018 World Championship Standard.
It will be the 25th anniversary of Austrian Open Championships this year. And what could be a better way to celebrate it than with the best 81 Standard couples of the World, representing 44 countries!
Three-time World Champions, and winners last year, Dmitry Zharkov and Olga Kulikova from Russian Federation will surely need to perform their best in order to continue their winning streak. The couples are more determined, more prepared and more eager to enter the dance floor in Multiversum, Schwechat.
We will be reporting live from Vienna. And, as usual, there will be a live stream from quarterfinal onwards through our partner FloDance.
In addition, we will keep an eye on the neighbouring country, Switzerland, where our associate member WRRC has World Championship Rock'n'Roll MC Free Style, World Cup Boogie Woogie Main Class and Juniors on Saturday, and World Championship Rock'n'Roll Formations and Boogie Woogie Formations on Sunday in Geneva. There will be a live stream from Geneva throughout the whole weekend.
