The organisers of Saturday's IDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard pulled all the stops by broadcasting almost seven hours of the event on the Internet.
The stream was of an excellent quality. Produced very artistically with multiple cameras around, and above, the floor, it made for the sort of compelling coverage that kept a worldwide audience following the championship from one round to the next. Maybe the only thing that was missing: some info-graphics - starting lists and results.
In any case, the Polish organisers and their producers need to be congratulated. There is no doubt, this will be a hard act to follow ... But all major IDSF DanceSport championships should be streamed, live or delayed, in the future!
