The 2011 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Freestyle Latin at the Ditan Gymnasium in Beijing, CHN, was decided last night by very narrow margins. Halves of a decimal poins decided over first, second and third. Fedor Polyaqnskiy and Dina Akhmetgareeva, RUS, were declared first WDSF World Champions in a freestyle event.

The Sports Director of the International Olympic Committee, Mr Christophe Dubi, was the guest of honour at last night's World Championship. He presented the medals to the winners jointly with WDSF President Carlos Freitag.
