AIMAG 2013The fourth edition of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games gets underway today with an Opening Ceremony held at the Samsan Gymnasium, the venue where DanceSport is scheduled to be contested next week.

The Asian Indoor Games in Incheon, KOR, are the first of three major multi-disciplinary events taking place in 2013 with DanceSport on the programme. The World Games in Cali, COL, and the WDSF World DanceSport Games in Kaohsiung, TPE, are the others.

In Incheon, the DanceSport athletes are among the last to compete on 4 and 5 July. From today through 6 July, 2,400 athletes and officials representing all Asian Olympic Council countries are involved in 100 medal competitions staged in 12 different sports.
