31 March 2013 | Deadline 20/12/2012

Additional staff had been hired at the WDSF Offices in Sant Cugat to process the applications for the WDSF Athlete's ID Cards. But the fact that most came in only in December, that they keep coming in every day by the hundreds, makes it impossible to guarantee the issuance and distribution of all cards in time for January 2013.

As a consequence, the cut-off date from which no WDSF competitions can be entered without an Athlete's ID Card has to be postponed. The new - and irrevocably firm - deadline is 31 March 2013.

Even if several thousands of these cards have been issued already, the same figures also indicate that a significant number of athletes have not yet applied online and sent the required printouts, passport photos and, in most cases, payment to their National Member Bodies. Apply now ...!
