Be #1! 06/05/2017

B-Boy Faïsi and B-Boy Sambo We didn't launch Breaking for Gold on 1 May, it was 4 days later. But the platform is  now ready for young b-boys/girls (from 16 to 18 years of age in 2018) to upload their 45-second videos and to get this stage-one qualifying process underway.

For a start-up, the overall traffic to breakingforgold.com is excellent: lots of visitors, who call up numerous pages, and the first 150 registered - with their own account. But not a single upload yet. So Faïsi, if you read this, you can still be #1.

We met Faïsi because many experts feel that he is close to being #1 in Belgium already, considered to be among the top breakers of a promising generation that should be represented at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. His mentor, b-boy Sambo, who's the driving force behind the exploits of Faïsi, of the "Battle Droids" crew (winners of the 2016 Battle of the Year Kids) and of the other 500 (!) students at his school, is confident.

Remember, you can upload as many videos as you want between now and 31 July, the new one will always substitute the one that is up already. You can see which one gets the most reactions by the visitors to breakingforgold.com.

Here's Faïsi and friends on vacation ... a few years ago!
