Born To Fight 15/01/2018

Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus, MDA © Egli Gabriele Goffredo and Anna Matus do what Franco Formica - Oksana Nikiforova, GER, and Aniello Langella - Khrystyna Moshenska, ITA, the only other couples winng three World Championships, did before them: they quit at three World Champion Latin titles as what was formerly known as amateurs and turn professional.

In a statement on her Facebook page, Anna announced their decision yesterday with the following words:

Well ... Here we are ... The moment has arrived for us to open a new chapter in our careers, no longer as amateurs but as professionals. We spent many years fighting to reach the top and then two more wonderful years fighting to stay there, and we now look forward to our new challenges in the Professional Division, because we feel we were born to fight.

These have been the best years of our lives, not just in the three that we finally reached our goals, but the time getting there too. Victory would never have tasted so sweet without all the times we were defeated on the way ... Thanks to all of you who have been with us and against us up until now. You have challenged us and inspired us to become what we are today.

With Love! The Gladiator and Anna
