Cali Lives Dance 18/07/2013

TWG 2013: DanceSport

The World Games 2013 Cali will be declared open by Colombian President Santos on 25 July. Ten days of competition in 30+ sports will follow.

The Opening Ceremony is held at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium and, as we already know, dance is one of its key elements.

Cali loves dance, lives dance and takes pride in being recognised as the "World Capital of Salsa."

A TV programme for youth looks at how hundreds of dancers rehearse daily for the Opening Ceremony ... and at how Colombian athletes in DanceSport, rugby and beach handball prepare for The World Games 2013. Even if it's all in Spanish, you should be able to appreciate Cali's enthusiasm for dance right from the start!
