Dance Kao And Sport Hsiung 10/07/2013

WDSF World DanceSport Games Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu and WDSF President Carlos Freitag were the protagonists of a press conference that announced the start of the ticket sales for the World DanceSport Games 2013 (here).


They met with the local and national media in the Kaohsiung City Government building.

Mayor Chen emphasised the special relationship between DanceSport and her city that was forged during The World Games 2009 - when the Standard, Latin and Rock 'n' Roll events produced sell-outs at the K-Arena on two consecutive days.

She declared the city's objective for the WDSF games this September as one of "uniting DanceSport and Kaohsiung once more to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as the joy and the passion of moving gracefully to music among the residents."

This concept is taken up in the names of the two WDSG 2013 mascots too. Dance Kao and Sport Hsiung make up a couple that should embody the union.
