In the late evening of Wednesday 2 December, Kathrin Menzinger posted a video of herself and partner Vadim dancing in the PD World Showdance on Facebook. Earlier today, not even 36 hours later, the video had accrued more than three million views.
The reason for the video's virality: E. L. James, the author of "Fifty Shades of Grey," shared it on her Facebook page! Her more than two million fans make for a sizeable audience. And a "Wow ... This is phenomenal" endorsement by James makes watching the five-minute clip almost compulsory for the BDSM community.
