Pierre Payen - Isabelle Reyjal, FRA © dance-mag.com The first WDSF World DanceSport Championship of 2016 is history. It was danced on Friday 10 February in Antwerp, BEL. The number of entries: 174 couples representing 21 countries and four continents between them! 

The new World Champions in Senior II Standard are Pierre Payen - Isabelle Reyjal, FRA, who switched their third place on the podium last year with Alberto Belometti - Barbara Pini, ITA, the 2016 Champions in Antalya, TUR. The Italians were second runners up in Antwerp; first runners-up this year were Gert Faustmann - Alexandra Kley, GER.
