Live from Tyumen, RUS 27/09/2013

TC Ludwigsburg, GER

Some of the formation teams travelled to the Siberian city of Tyumen almost straight from Kaohsiung, TPE, and the World DanceSport Games there.

After Formation Standard was contested on 16 September at the K-Arena in Kaohsiung, the teams' focus turned immediately to the upcoming World Championship.

On Saturday 28 September they will now dispute the 2013 world title at the Central Sports Complex in Tyumen.
The defending world champions from Braunschweig, GER, and last year's runners-up from Ludwigsburg, GER, and Tyumen, RUS, are again the favourites.

After Judging System 2.0 was used in assessing the formations' performances at the World DanceSport Games, it is back to the traditional ways of picking the winners at this championship. Maybe for the very last time!

WDSF Communications' Helmut Roland is in Tyumen and reports on the 2013 World Championship Formation Standard through a blog.
