Live from Vienna ... 19/11/2009

The "Live from Vienna" blog on the 2009 IDSF World Cup Standard is the third trial balloon in the efforts of IDSF Communications to bring real-time, round-by-round coverage of the premier championships and competitions to the global DanceSport community.

There are actually two events which will be covered LIVE on the Vienna blog:

  Day Round 1 Final
2009 IDSF World Cup Standard 21/11/09 16:50  22:40
IDSF International Open Standard 22/11/09 09:35  22:25

In the lead-up to both competitions we provide you with information on the couples who have entered, with interviews, and with a variety of impressions from the Stadthalle Vienna. Just as we tried to do from Maribor, SLO, on the occasion of the 2009 IDSF World DanceSport Championship Latin on 7 November. Click here to go to that blog!

In fact, we chose to do this blog on the World Cup to gain more experience in covering events prior to the 2009 IDSF World DanceSport Championship Standard. The Aarhus blog will also go online soon!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover any of the other events held during the 2009 Austrian Open. From Vienna, we should be able to put parts of the ORF Sport + broadcast on the 2009 World Cup on our YouTube channel fairly soon after the final.
