Back in 2010, when Maucau was host to the WDSF Asian DanceSport Championships for the last time, approximately 200 couples from 15 countries and regions entered the Latin and Standard plus the different Opens staged concurrently.
A similar number is expected to participate in 2012, when the Macau WDSF Open and WDSF Youth Open as well as regional and local competitions take place at the Tap Seac Multi-Sport Pavilion on 8 and 9 September.
The following countries/regions have entered couples: China, Hong Kong China, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Philippines, SINGAPORE, Thailand, Turkey, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Macau China.
Participation in the Asian DanceSport Championships is limited to 2 couples in each Latin and Standard per country. Check out the Macau DanceSport Federation website.
