Nakarai Shigeyuki, aka B-Boy Shigekix 17/05/2017

B-Boy Shigekix on TBS Nakarai Shigeyuki, aka B-Boy Shigekix , was at the centre of attention during the press conference held last week in Tokyo by the Japan DanceSport Federation. Not much of a surprise, since the media all came expressedly to meet young breakers like him. Shigekix is one of the many talents whom Japan counts on as a medal prospect for next year's YOG in Buenos Aires.

Dressed in his school uniform, he answered the journalists' questions, before taking off jacket and tie to show a set of breaking.

Now he submitted his 45-second video for the first stage of 2018 YOG qualifying. Watch and wonder ... why he picked this particular location as backdrop to his qualification set. Probably to emphasise the urban character of the dance!
