News From The Island 25/04/2014

Mallorca DanceSportTwo World Championships are staged as part of the traditional Mallorca DanceSport Challenge this year. One is the 2014 World Senior IV Standard, the other is the 2014 World U-21 Latin.

Nearly 200 couples from opposite ends of the age group group spectrum compete at the Galatzó Sport Hall in Calvià on 25 and 26 April.

A WDSF Communications team is on location and reporting in its trademark "nearly real-time" fashion. The conditions for the team to work in are more precarious than elsewhere, as access to the Internet from the venue is not provided by the organiser.

The news on the two world championships might therefore not be as "nearly real-time" as on other occasions.
