Remember Kiev! 08/03/2014

2013 World Standard Below is the 52-minute highlight that the WDSF television partner IEC in Sports produced on the 2013 World DanceSport Championship Standard in Kiev, UKR.

Watching it to should make for as good an occasion as any to reflect on everything that has happened in Kiev and around the entire country since last November.

It was on the eve of the World Standard, on 22 November, that the first demonstration brought Kiev citizens by the thousands to the Independence Square.

Only this week WDSF had to announce the cancellation of the 2014 European Ten Dance in Uzhgorod as a result of the volatile situation across the Ukraine. One that has deteriorated much over recent days and weeks. Our thoughts are with the people in the Ukraine!
