Returned Safely 15/03/2011

IDSF President Carlos Freitag and IDSF Sports Director Marco Sietas have safely returned to Spain today.

Carlos, who was accompanied on the trip by his wife Evelyn, and Marco had stayed on in Tokyo for the Adjudicators' Congress last Saturday. They were able to fly out on Monday and arrived at Barcelona airport at 12:00 CET today.

In light of the ever more threatening situation for the people in Tokyo as well as around the country, IDSF urges all visitors to worlddancesport.org to express their solidarity and to donate to the relief efforts by the Japanese Red Cross Society (here).

IDSF joins all participants in thanking the Tokyo Grand Slam organisers for keeping everyone safe and assisted at all times.

"A big thanks must go the the organisers, a very difficult time for them, but they were very professional in their approach. A BIG THANK YOU!"
