Swaziland vs. Mozambique 28/07/2011

Sammy Msibi, SWADANSA PRO

Sammy Msibi (left), who is in charge of public relations for the Swaziland DanceSport Association, announces another competition on 30 July. It will pit Swaziland’s best against Mozambique dancers.

As part of the preparations for the Southern African Dance Sport Federation Festival and the South African Dance Championships Mhlume Dance Club will host a dance competition this weekend.

Swaziland Dance Sports Association Public Relations Officer Sammy Msibi confirmed these developments yesterday. According to Msibi, the tournament will be held at Mhlume Country Club hall on Saturday.

He invitesd all ballroom dance clubs and schools to the competition and urged them to come fully prepared as they would be scouting dancers for the championships planned for December. He mentioned that they were also expecting international dancers for the competition.

“Mozambique dancers have already confirmed their participation on this day together with local clubs and schools, so, we, therefore, request parents, the general public and fellow sportsmen from other disciplines in Swaziland to join us at this venue as we show Mozambique why Swazi dancers brought gold medals from Lesotho,” he said confidently.

“Registration will be done on the day of the competition,” he said. Msibi further urged local dancers to give out their best in the tournament.
