The 2023 WDSF GrandSlam Latin Series Final winners are... 11/12/2023

WDSF GrandSlam Latin Final 2023 The crown jewel of the season’s traditional WDSF Latin events saw light in Shanghai (CHN) on Saturday as the twelve highest ranked Latin couples of the 2023 WDSF GrandSlam Series were invited to the final showdown, the GrandSlam Series Final.

Having dominated the GrandSlam Series and all the title events this year, it turned out to be another victorious event for Marius-Andrei Balan – Khrystyna Moshenska (GER), who enjoyed the Series final in full and awe’d the Chinese fans, and together with the fellow finalists offered a sizzling spectacle to finalize the last page of the book of DanceSport Season 2023 in Latin dancing.

Charles-Guillaume Schmitt – Elena Salikhova (FRA) added to the final by offering another sparkling and energetic show, which earned them the silver medals. Guillem Pascual – Diandra-Aniela Illes (ESP) performed consistently, wow’s the spectator stands with their passionate dancing and secured the bronze medals.

Chinese’s own Yan Bangbang – Du Yujun ranked 4th, the DanesMalthe Brinch Rohde – Sandra Sorensen ranked 5th, and the Romanian couple Miculescu Ionut Alexandru - Pacurar Andraranked 6th.

The GrandSlam Series Final weekend started already on Friday with a glamorous Red Carpet event, which attracted international press to take photos and get to know these DanceSport Superstars of the world, followed by a welcoming dinner.

The weekend will be concluded with the 2023 WDSF GrandSlam Standard Series Final.
