The One and Only 03/05/2018

Peter Maxwell, Gabriele Goffredo, Anna Matus "Stand up straight and look good!" That was Peter Maxwell's basic advice to Olympians of the likes of figure skater Tonya Harding and luger Chris Mazdzer, who are among the several athletes contesting season 26 of the U.S. version “Dancing with the Stars."

Peter dispensed his advice in a telephone interview with the Olympic Channel's Ed Knowles, the producer of a 15-minute podcast currently available under the following link!

Harding is riding the wave generated by the movie “I, Tonya,” which starred Margot Robbie as the two-time Olympic figure skater, telling her side of the story about the scandal which made Harding (in)famous in the 1990s.

"I feel like a princess," Harding tells the interviewer about her appearance in the first episode of DWTS, knowing full well that she would once more be compared to Nancy Kerrigan, the "good-girl" skater, who was a contestant in an earlier DWTS season.

The real gems and quotable nuggets of wisdom are courtesy of Peter Maxwell. Listen to "Dancing with the Stars: Backstage Special" through to the very end under this link!
