A small but distinguished audience was present when the one-hour documentary was shown for the very first time. The film's director, Pedro Toro, addressed the members of the WDSF Managing Committee, the judging panel for the GrandSlam Hong Kong and a very small number of athletes who made it to the Queen Elizabeth Stadium arena one day early.
"One could have taken many different views on what happened between 16 and 20 September 2013 in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung," Toro said. "We selected those of the athletes who competed in the inaugural edition of the World DanceSport Games. These are their views and voices."
After the pre-screening of "do your dance" ended with a firework of emotions by the champions in the different DanceSport disciplines, the audience rose from the seats and applauded Toro and the WDSF Communications team.
The première of "do your dance" takes place on Saturday 14 June 2014 during the Forum that precedes the WDSF Annual General Meeting in Bucharest, ROU. Immediately following that, the documentary will get distributed to broadcasters. How and when it will be made available to the public at large remains to be decided.
