TWG 2017 Opening Ceremony © Mokrzycki At times it was very difficult to decide where best to focus one's attention: to one of the stages, to one of the screens, or to the streams of people moving up and down the catwalks.

The Opening Ceremony was a highly  visual smorgasbord of themes ranging from sports to politics put together by artistic director Krzysztof Materna. Colours, music and - above all - dance were the key ingredients. The full spectrum of all three elements was used to drive the message home.
