X-Mas Telly 20/12/2011

Dinner For One Watching television has its place among the rites of Christmas and New Year's holidays. Whether that is good or bad is not the question. Fact is that programming executives around the world expect entire families to tune into their channels more often, for longer periods of time, and for more compelling reasons.

That's why they stud their programmes over the coming days with "Holiday Specials", classics and, of course, sports.

DanceSport, too, will be on air over Christmas. At least in Australia and Spain.

Christmas DanceSport Programmes

Segments of the Australian DanceSport Championships will be telecast on "SEVEN TWO" on Christmas Eve at 5.30 p.m. (Eastern Summer time dowunder). The programme will also include the WDSF Asian Pacific DanceSport Championship Latin, the Australian Open and the International Open Standard, demonstration couples and some interesting back stage interviews.

The recent Grand Slam Finals in Salou will air in Spain on TV3 and 3 Sports.

  • Grand Slam Standard Final on Christmas Eve, at 9.35 p.m. CET (repeat on Christmas Day at 1.15 p.m.)
  • Grand Slam Latin Final on Boxing Day/St Stephen's Day at 7.25 p.m.
