The WDSF Athletes' Commission (AC) is a permanent commission of the WDSF Presidium that consists of athletes who are elected solely by other WDSF athletes. The AC represents the interest of the athletes, advises the Presidium on matters that are relevant to the athletes, and works to improving the communication between the Presidium and the athletes.

The 4-year term of our current Youth & Under 21 representative, Paul Moldovan, has concluded. All athletes dancing in the Youth or Under 21 age groups may now present themselves or be nominated by others as candidates for the positionYou have to be at least 18 years of age. One of the candidates approved by the Commission as qualified under the WDSF Athletes Commission Operating Policy will be elected to serve a 4-year term as a member of the Athletes' Commission. 

Any active athlete in the Youth or Under 21 age category who is 18 years or over may submit his or her candidacy together with a resume and reasons or statement for candidacy, to the following e-mail address by 8 March 2016, 17:00 CET: 

We will be conducting a combined election with both balloting at the WDSF European Youth Latin on 26 March 2016 and parallel electronic elections from 19 March 2016 up to and including 26 March 2016. Further instructions on the electronic voting will be issued once the candidates are known. 

One of the accepted candidates will be elected based on the two election processes.
