¡Mira Quién Baila! ... En Cali! 27/06/2013

Cali The World Games 2013 in the Colombian host city of Cali are exactly 28 days away.

On 25 July the ninth edition of these multi-sport games will get off to a spectucalr start with the Opening Ceremony at the 35,000-capacity Pascal Guerrero Stadium.

Dancing will certainly be one of the mainstays in the ceremony programme. Cali, after all, is well known as the World Capital of Salsa.

DanceSport will then be one of the 30+ sports contested as part of 2013 Cali - with Standard (27 July), Latin (28 July) and Salsa (27 and 28 July) competitions staged in a setting like no other before. The Cali bullfighting arena will turn into an appropriate backdrop to the dancing in the Latin styles and, at the same time, be a strong contrast to the tails and gowns in Standard.

156 athletes have been nominated by their WDSF Member Bodies - and in some cases by their National Olympic Committees - to compete in this event held under IOC patronage. Over the next four weeks, WDSF Communications presents some of the coupes in the "Look Who's Dancing in Cali" series here and on facebook. As in previous editions, the very best will fight for World Games gold in 2013 too.
