MoreIt's about enjoying each single moment, in private, in business, in every dance

That's Him!

Up Close!

How did you get into Dancesport; when did you start?

Being on holiday in Italy in 2007, we enjoyed dancing in the town centre on Saturdays and Sundays.

Back at home we found a local club, met Juris Baumanis and his wife Biruta and then, there was no turning back

What are the fascinations that keep you in Dancesport?

Who can say "No" to music, movement, great people and wonderful dresses? ...

Actually, I enjoy the opportunity to learn something new every time I step on the floor

What are your aims in Dancesport?

Dancing is not about aims... Dancing is about enjoying the journey wherever it will take us

Is there anything in today's Dancesport that you are worried about?

Let's not make judging to become too scientific

Do you have time to meet friends outside of DanceSport?

Great question --- clearly one of the downsides of the intensive training

What would you do if you had an unexpected day off?

... don't worry - there's a long action list of things to be done at home

Do you have talents other than dancing that nobody knows about - yet?

I enjoy coaching and mentoring others - bringing them to perform at their best

What genre of movie could motivate you to go to the cinema?

Watch "Chariots of Fire" and you know the answer

What are you most proud of in your sporting career or life?

there can be no prouder moment than sitting with our three Children and enjoying their presence

What are you looking at first when you meet a stranger?

Eyes tell you everything

How do you cope with stress and bad moods?

... ask Corinne

What is your motto in life?

Carpe Diem
