Result Announced for the 2025 WDSF Athletes’ Commission Asian Representative Election
The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is pleased to announce the result of the 2025 Athletes’ Commission election for the Asian representative. This election marks another step in strengthening athlete representation and engagement within the WDSF structure.
The election took place during the 2025 WDSF Asian Championships, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, from 10 to 13 July 2025, offering athletes across Asia the opportunity to participate in this important governance process. The election was conducted in accordance with the WDSF Presidium Operating Policy for the Athletes’ Commission.
Following the final vote count, and as scrutinised and certified by Alexey Glukhov and Mateusz Czyzyk, the Athletes’ Commission confirms that:
Yan Bangbang
has been duly elected as the Asian Athletes’ Commissioner for a four-year term until 2029.
The WDSF Athletes’ Commission thanks all candidates for their participation and dedication to DanceSport, and extends appreciation to the athletes who engaged in this democratic process and made their voices heard.
We congratulate Yan Bangbang on the election and look forward to his valuable contributions to the work of the Athletes’ Commission.
