2017 Ashgabat © Nurkiewicz/Laurel With every single dance contested as a separate medal event and with Salsa thrown in for good measure, gold, silver and bronze were under inflationary pressure at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, TUR, on 25 and 26 September.

In trhe final tally of the medals, China prevailed again with five gold over Korea with three plus Japan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam with one each.
