Madis Abel - Aleksandra Galkina, EST © Sportsfinder HK Madis Abel - Aleksandra Galkina, EST, and Evgeny Nikitin - Anastasia Miliutina have a few things in common. Both couples are definitely on their way up, currently occupying the places six and eight, respectively, of the World Ranking Standard. If there is such a thing as paper form in DanceSport, they must be considered the odds-on favourites for the win in tomorrow's World Cup Standard in Chengdu, CHN.

Both couples have made the final round for the first time in the 2018 GrandSlam Series: Madis and Aleksandra in Taipei City and in Rimini; Evgeny and Anastasia in Rimini. However, both couples failed to repeat as finalists in the Stuttgart leg - one month ago - finishing as seventh and eight. We talked to all four immediately following the semi-final round. They put it all into perspective. Despite their recent successes, there are no traces of hybris. These youngsters prefer to take it one step at the time. Chengdu should be one of these steps.

Will this World Cup Standard - danced on 8 September - be another milestone in the careers of the two couples? Follow it LIVE  on www.FloDance.com from 9 a.m. UTC/GMT.
