The Saturday’s Latin evening belonged to the reigning World and European Champions Marius-Andrei Balan – Khrystyna Moshenska (GER). The couple wow’d the audience, impressed the Adjudicators and won the first event of the 2023 WDSF Grand Slam Series with well-earned high scores taking a solid lead of the Series ranking. Charles-Guillaume Schmitt – Elena Salikhova (FRA) secured their second place with their artistic yet athletic approach to Latin dancing, and the Chinese fans were thrilled to see Yan Bangbang – Du Yujun (CHN) taking the third place on the podium. Malthe Brinch Rohde – Sandra Sorensen (DEN) finished fourth, Winson Tam – Anastasia Novikova (HKG) fifth and Konstantin Gorodilov – Polina Figurenko (EST) sixth adding to an explosive final leaving the spectators in feeling of amazement.
