Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova, RUS © Kaleta It is the privilege of the GrandSlam leg in Helsinki, FIN, to mark an important milestone: the start of a new Series in a new year. Forgotten are all of the results in the past: the supremacy of the two dancers who won everything there was to win in 2017. Dmitry Zharkov and Olga Kulikova, RUS, will return to the GrandSlam floor after their season-opening win at the 2018 European in Copenhagen, DEN, two weeks ago.

While it is unlikely that the powers have shifted much since then, but this second major Standard competition of the year will be revealing in many respects. Couples we haven't seen dancing in Denmark will join us here, couples that haven't made the final then could make it now. Even though the shifts are of a subtle nature, there are shifts. And on top of everything: what you will get to watch as a LIVE webcast and then as a video-on-demand highlight will be the best Standard dancing available anywhere on air or on-line.
