What is DanceSport at TWG?
DanceSport is one of the most vibrant and high-impact disciplines featured at The World Games—an international multi-sport event governed by the International World Games Association (IWGA). At TWG2025, DanceSport will once again showcase the diversity, athleticism, elegance, and urban spirit that define our sport, through four world-class competitions in the heart of Chengdu.
Thank You to the IWGA
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the International World Games Association (IWGA) for making this global showcase of DanceSport possible directly through our platform. Their continued support and commitment allow us to bring our sport to new audiences and celebrate it on one of the biggest international stages.
A Word from the WDSF President
“We are proud to bring DanceSport to a global audience through The World Games once again. This is a celebration of excellence and diversity in motion—where tradition meets innovation. We invite fans around the world to join us live and support the athletes as they make history in Chengdu.”
